Andrew Maidanik is an award winning Toronto based portrait and travel photographer specializing in classic portraiture, as well as corporate, fashion, wedding and children photography. Andrew's works have been published in a number of photography textbooks, albums, magazines and newspapers including ELLE, L'Oficiel, PRO FOTO, Globe & Mail and other. For his projects Andrew has travelelled to Italy, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Israel and USA.
Last year Andrew and his colleague Bina Akhoundov have launched animal photography project ZooPodium, which became very successful from the very beginning. Dogs, cats and horses have been the main area of interest for both photographers, however, Andrew has done some work with exotic animals as well.
Over the past few years Andrew has been sharing his photography experience in series of masterclasses, workshops, private lessons and various Internet resourses, teaching photography techniques to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
